2018 is the year of the World Cup. FIFA World Cup Soccer is a worldwide tournament that happens every four years. In South America, that means the famous sticker album for the event is already in circulation. Taking advantage of the event the Serra Seventh-day Adventist School, located in the metropolitan region of Espírito Santo, Brazil, proposed a different kind of album for the students. Instead of stickers with soccer player’s pictures, each child received stickers for tasks they completed in the classroom.

Among the tasks the students need to do to get stickers are: homework, good behavior, cleanliness, organization and good grades. “The teacher will evaluate in the classroom, according to the established rules, and give the packages with the cards according to the performance of each one. They will also be able to interact with one another by exchanging stickers”, explained education coordinator, Renata Penha Justino Rodrigues.

The completion of the album ended in June, when they will count the stickers. The student who fills all the blanks gains a point in the class of his choice. “We want to encourage good study habits in a fun way, both at home and at school,” said Renata.
