On January 4, Loganesti village, in Moldova, held a Christmas carnival with the support of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, along with the local kindergarten, the Orthodox Church and the gymnasium. This project was organized for children from socially vulnerable families of the village.
In the list of project organizers, 17 families in particular were in need of assistance. Special attention was paid to children born in 2017. Different communities of the village prepared a modest program. At the meeting, the children from the kindergarten, the staff of the city library together with the volunteers from the village, as well as a vocal group from the Adventist Church, took the floor.
After the performance, the prepared gifts were handed over to the needy. Those who, due to illness, could not attend the carnival, were visited at home by the project participants. They were also given personal hygiene items, food and sweets.
Large families were presented with special gifts including bed-clothes, pillows, blankets, clothes and shoes.
The project brought a lot of joy to both those who received the gifts and those who prepared them. The participants of the project thank God for the fact their small project has brought someone great happiness.
