The status of the ARA San Juan submarine is unknown. To date, following 12 days of searching, nothing is known of its current location or condition. Days ago, official spokesperson for the Argentine Navy, Enrique Balbi, confirmed an explosion had been reported on Wednesday, November 15, approximately 3 hours before the last contact with the submarine was made.

For this reason, Santiago López Blasco and his friend, Diego Abalo arrived at Mar del Plata on Sabbath, November 25, to reach out to family members of the submarine’s missing crew. There, establishing contact and dialog, while remaining respectful of the delicate situation facing the families, they were able to distribute the book, “The Power of Hope.”

Santiago points out, “We were able to distribute approximately 350 copies to the family members and close relatives of the San Juan submarine crew, journalists, politicians, military servicemen and women, and Navy officers.”

“We hope these words prove to be a blessing for each one of them. We pray, confident that this will be the case!” concludes López Blasco.

After distributing the printed material, López Blasco and Diego shared their experience in a live transmission via Facebook. Some flags and signs could also be seen, which had been left by many as demonstrations of support and reminders that the people will continue praying for them.
