English-language initiative is hosted by Signs of the Times in Romania.

ST. Network(Signs of the Times Network) is a new outlet for Christian analysis and opinion designed to be especially relevant to an online reading audience. The site says it welcomes readers willing to discover the benefits of developing a carefully informed outlook on life.

The new site is the result of a long-held desire on the part of church leaders to provide readers across Europe with well-researched biblical perspectives on the questions and challenges of life.

This new platform, offered by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Inter-European Division, and with the endorsement of the Trans-European Division publishing department, launched with a series of articles covering the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be updated daily, site managers said.

As an English-language platform, ST.Network draws from a growing international team of writers, according to the site’s founders. Authors from a variety of countries have already contributed to the present COVID-19 series and are committed to writing more articles on a variety of subjects in the future.

The ST.Network team said that during a crisis such as the current COVID-19 pandemic, it emphasizes that the new platform is there to help. As such, leaders said that Adventist publishers are free to reuse the COVID-19 related articles in their publications and websites, while giving credit to the author and the ST.Network platform and with an active link to the source page of the article.

Those looking for partnership opportunities can reach the ST.Network editorial office through the website or through its Facebook page.

ST.Network’s founders said the site is committed to being the publishing missionary tool that many were waiting for, serving a growing number of digital natives already using the internet as their primary source of information. Following a vision of sharing and collaboration as Signs of the Times teams in different countries, they said, they now have the opportunity to build a robust European network of related websites in different languages, with the ability to connect God’s eternal message of love with the ever-changing challenges of the world.

“In the midst of the crisis generated by the new coronavirus, it has become ever more obvious that it is crucial to work together. We need to support one another in finding better answers to the situations we go through and the questions that arise along the way,” said Norel Iacob, editor-in-chief of the new platform.

ST.Network draws on the experience and contribution of the Romanian Semnele timpului (Signs of the Times) magazine team. After the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic, ST.Network published more than 50 articles focused on COVID-19 that were read by more than 650,000 unique Romanian-speaking users. This is consistent with what the team behind Signs of the Times Romania has discovered in the past ten years: there is a large underserved audience interested in reading Christian analysis and opinions.
