Who We Are
Adventist Beliefs
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
Adventist Service
Since the establishment of the Seventh-day Adventist Welfare Service (SAWS) in 1956, the Adventist Church has continually prioritized humanitarian aid and community development. Today, Adventist humanitarian work reaches into more than 120 countries and serves tens of millions of people every year.
Adventist Freedom
The Seventh-day Adventist church strongly believes in religious freedom for all people. A person’s conscience, not government, should dictate his or her choice to worship — or notIn the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. — Ge 1:1
