Today, it seems as if things are just getting worse. Extreme hunger is on the rise. Natural disasters are becoming more violent. Lives are being senselessly lost, and for much of the world hope is in rare supply. When the winds blow, the earth shakes, and the floodwaters rise, God’s children look to the heavens and pray for protection, peace, and hope. These are the reasons that ADRA’s annual Disaster and Famine Relief Offering exists.
