In 2016, Cyclone Pam wreaked havoc in Vanuatu. One of the buildings badly damaged was a boarding school. With no other high schools in the province, students had to resume their studies, despite having to live and study in temporary shelters and damaged buildings.
ADRA Connections sent a team of high school students to Vanuatu, where they worked side by side with locals to rebuild structures and ensure that the students could once again enjoy a safe and dignified learning environment.
