Adventist Church President offers condolences, asks for prayer

It is with great sadness that we have learned of a tragic “drive-by” shooting that has taken place outside our Seventh-day Adventist Church in Quetta, Pakistan, on Sunday evening, April 15, 2018.

The 18-year-old son of one of our Seventh-day Adventist church members and another person were killed, and eight people were injured.

Our hearts go out to the families affected and to our precious Seventh-day Adventist Church members in Quetta.

I appeal to all Seventh-day Adventists around the globe to pray for religious liberty and spiritual opportunities in Pakistan and all other countries of the world as we follow in the footsteps of Christ serving others and pointing them to Christ, His righteousness, His three angels’ messages of Revelation 14, and His soon coming.

Pastor Ted N.C. Wilson, president, Seventh-day Adventist Church
